Erin, your sweater is gorgeous! It looks great on your mother! Perfect color and perfect fit! You did a great job on that sweater. I hope the sweater I'm working on looks even half as good as yours when it's done!
I shocked the heck out of myself when I saw how good it looked on my mom. I didnt think I could get anything that nice looking to come off one of my crochet hooks.
My dad said that from a distance, the fan stitches remind him of knitted cable stitches.
My biggest problem was getting the second sleeve to match the other one. The stitch markers fell out of the first sleeve, (note to self: next time use contrasting color for stitch markers) and so I had to count every row on both sleeves carefully to make sure that everything matched up.
Darn stitch markers! I hate those things, even though I'd be lost without them! I'm sure now that now you've finished this sweater, the next one will be much easier for you. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!
