I made an afghan

It's one of my rectangle granny squares. Gave it to a neighbor who's had a bad year.

hello, I love your pattern for the rectangle granny square. I have had it for a while now, and have decided to make it (finally!)I want to make it to fit a long twin (hospital type) bed. Can I pick your brain on how much (in yards, not weight) you think I would need. I am thinking of using "I Love This Yarn" from Hobby Lobby. Thanks, Vicki I couldn't find your email address to ask there. vgb@insightbb.com

I used about two skeins apiece of each color that's in that afghan. (about 8 skeins total, it's Red Heart Super Saver 7oz skeins).

I didn't measure the afghan, and I've already given it away, so I don't know what the dimensions of the one I made would be. The picture of it on the bed tho, that's a queen sized bed if it helps you figure out the size.

I usually buy more yarn than I think I need, because sometimes I end up making afghans bigger than I want to make them. Good thing Red Heart is inexpensive. (so is "I Love This Yarn")

I don't have many projects to share right now. I've got lots of ideas for things to make, just don't have that much energy to make anything. I've been sick off and on for the past year. It's been cutting into my crochet time.

Love the colors. I've made several of your rectangular grannies for charity--I love the pattern!

Love this and the colors you've selected are spot on - bold but warm at the same time. Thanks for sharing this!
